Thinking about what you are going to do after dropping the kids at HOC for a great week of summer camp?  Parents deserve a holiday too!

Northern Edge Algonquin, Ontario’s award-winning eco-lodge, offers adventure and retreat experiences for parents that coincide with pick-up and drop off times at HOC.

After dropping the kids at camp, enjoy the short drive to the Edge for a candle-lit dinner and cozy night in a forest cabin, then explore Algonquin Park by canoe on 4 day/3 night Algonquin Park Nature Safari canoe trip. Swim in waterfall rapids, enjoy misty morning paddles for Algonquin moose or join in a campfire wolf howl to try to coax a return howl from the Nahma Lake pack.

Before picking up young ones at camp on Saturday morning, visit the Edge Thursday-Saturday for a three day getaway featuring yoga, guided mountain biking and hiking, canoeing and sea kayaking, candle-lit dinners with delicious local cuisine with chef Gregor.

. . . or do both and enjoy a full week parents holiday.  Your kids will be having a great time at HOC but you’ll have your own stories to share.

Your child can even stay a day longer (nominal extra charge) at HOC if you’d like to participate fully in a scheduled long weekend retreat or adventure (Thursday – Sunday).
