Hockey Program – Revitalized for 2012!

We are very excited to announce that we are launching a new Hockey Development Program. Hockey is always changing and we are keeping pace in order to stay at the forefront of hockey development programming. For the summer of 2012 we are making significant changes to be the “best in class” hockey instruction and development experience on the market.

We are increasing the number of hockey instructional groups from the current six to seven, while at the same time capping registrations per week at the current numbers. What this means is a reduced number of skaters on the ice within each instructional grouping.

Here’s what to expect with our 2012 Hockey Program:

  • 10 intensive hours of ice time per week, per player, focusing on high tempo, multi skill drills based on today’s best practices
  • 24 skaters (approx) plus 4 goalies for each instructional group, providing each of our players with;
    • increased “puck time”
    • increased number of repetitions per drill
    • reduced wait times in lines
    • more ice time per player during scrimmages
    • 6 to 1 player to instructor ratio
    • increased individual attention ensuring skill appropriate instruction
  • An exciting Saturday scrimmage showcasing player development
    (Intermediate and Senior scrimmages will take place Friday night)

In addition to the exceptional hockey training, campers participate daily in two chosen land or water-based activities. Campers have the opportunity to sign up for their preferred land or water activities with their registration.
