Located in Ontario, in the beautiful Almaguin Highlands, HOC’s camp setting provides a panoramic view of Eagle Lake and its many islands. Our peninsula, one of our most prominent features, provides a natural shelter for our busy waterfront.

The main lodge serves as our social centre and dining room. Meals are provided by a professional caterer who specializes in the camping industry. Our chef prepares well-balanced meals including fresh breads and desserts baked on-site. Meals are served family style and are all you can eat.

Two large recreational halls ensure that alternate programming can continue indoors in inclement weather. There are a number of  recreation facilities spread throughout camp including our versatile outdoor sports rink system that works great as an outdoor training facility, 9-hole disk golf course, beach volleyball courts, designated swimming/beach front areas, running/biking trails, and 150m x 150m playing field.

The entire camp’s water is filtered from the lake through a commercial UV water system and very safe to drink. Water testing is done daily to monitor chlorine levels and ensure the water’s safety at all times. In the event of power outage, the facility has a generator backup for the main dining hall and kitchen facilities as well as the treated water system and main business camp office.

Cabins

Campers live in cabins housing between 8-12 campers. Each cabin is supervised by a counselor who sleeps in a separate room within the cabin. Large restrooms with flush toilets, hot and cold running water and showers are located adjacent to all cabins.

Senior Camp

Senior camp is a separate facility designed specifically for our older campers. This private setting is equipped a beach volleyball court, large recreation hall with indoor basketball court.
